Bed 1 – A glioblastoma multiforme stage IV patient is intubated for Hospital Acquired Pneumonia (HAP) . Prognosis wise, he is gravely ill. He had been on ventilatory support for fifteen days. Frequent nursing, vegetative state and totally dependant. But he is still responding to his wife calls. Giving her glimpse of reactions. Sometimes, a vague smile and sometimes teary eyes.  He is still young. A 35 years old, young healthy man presented late last year, with sudden unconsciousness. Agreeing to chemotheraphy and radiotheraphy palliatively, he is still surviving the last days of his mortal life. He knows how things will go. But he didn’t know whether he is ready to go. Allowing her wife to feed, wash and pray, next to him. She is ready to let him go. But he is still surviving on inotropes. Machine-dependent. Just to see the light of the day. Waiting for the next day.
