The Colour of Inequality
I have just finished reading The Colour of Inequality by Dr Muhammad Abdul Khalid.
I do not know how to describe my feeling after reading this book? There is a mix of sadness and enlightenment, an ambivalent feeling, to see and try to understand Income and Wealth Inequality in Malaysia.
I guess the foreword by Dr Muhammad says it all,
“What is urgently needed from us all – regardless of ethnicity, creed, gender, religion, social status, and political affiliation – is empathy, .. “
I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to see the underlying problem of the inequality in the Malaysian context. Those who wants to involve in policy making, affirmative action studies, studying NEP, Bumiputera economic agenda, and wealth distribution of the nation in a point of inequality view standing.

It is very relevant to the current Malaysian society.
Anyways, Happy Chinese New Year.

thanks for sharing Khairul.
