I guess long form reading is dead. Because long form reading requires that special set of skill. The skill to contain the idea, analyzing the idea, withholding and let go of the idea and judging the idea.

It requires a special some sort of RAM to read longform now days.

Why is it difficult to read long form?

1. Dense material.. so much of material too process that the brain couldn’t take it.
2. Complexity of the plot that a certain level of comprehension is require to understand the material.
3. Use of complex jargon and word making it even difficult to understand,
4. Not related or could not relate to material available,
5. Digital technologies contributing to the lost art of writing long form.
6. Newer ways of conveying messages, rather than the old ways of writing information.
7. Some people may have problem like dyslexia making long form difficult to read.
8. Difficulty digesting information that is so scattered. Maklumat berterabur.
9. Seni penulisan yang berkecamuk dan jiwa penulisan yang gersang dengan budaya dan adab menulis.
10. Mungkin muscle untuk membaca sudah lemah. Muscle untuk mendapatkan kefahaman dengan menulis sudah lemah sebab tidak di gilap.

Ini pun sudah jadi long form, tapi dalam format point form.
