Tayyib Al Ihsan

This is a Malay-Jawi medical treatise (kitāb perubatan Melayu) combining classical Islamic medical knowledge with local medicinal sources.

The manuscript was completed on 3 Zulhijjah 1312 AH, corresponding to 28 May 1895 CE in Mecca.

Because it combines local knowledge with Islamic tradition, the book is an important source in the study of Malay Islamic medical heritage (especially in the Nusantara).
