During my earlier days, when I was a housemen, I really dont like to find a ventilator,

“Actually, you need one dedicated person just to find the ventilator, and that person or doctor MUST not be doing anything else, except to call and call all the Hospital in Malaysia..” and these was the word from my senior HO friend. He emphasized again, and again that, the person must not, do blood taking, clerking, sending blood to lab.

Usually, the post call people get to do this, because you know it is not easy handling labour room and NICU when you are post call.

I know this feeling very well, and I have done this before. It was a nightmare. Sometimes, you will just Pray to Allah, and get lucky,

” Hey, hospital tu ada ventilator lah!,” and that grin, the satisfaction of looking for a ventilator.
