Living in a pseudo-Capitalist nation.
By Khairul

It is a known fact that, Malaysia, in her own glorious and present achievements is a muslim country. Implementation of family laws, issues regarding freedom to choose religions and converts, and even to economically extension into “halal” marketing programmes. ( I wanted to put propaganda, but the word seems to be negatively perceived).

Yet, in the understanding and growing popularity in the muslim and international scene, I still believe Malaysia is not up to Islamic nation that she is promoting. Hadhari, moderation and fundamentalist, all are by products of the government in which Malaysia is/are labelled.

To my understading, implementation of Shariah is still not practical under these conditions, biased and misunderstanding between races in Malaysia, social inequality in distribution of wealth and corrupted, bureacratic and infidel management of the country’r resources.

Therefore, a milder, rules of implementation under the Perlembagaan is relied upon.

True, enough under the positive perspective that the media gives the notion that Malaysia is politicall stable are justified, however by erasing and controlling over the dominance of news certain aspects of justified decisions are lost.

Malaysia, may not become the next America, but surely it’ll reach its standards to Germany, Switzerland and Singapore. Indonesia is in a different season.

The social and economical inequality may become the main factor to unite Malaysian under the rulings of Islam. Madinah managed to unite her people, why not Malaysia someday? True, the complexities of social structures are not as complex as the present world-view, but still the same pricipal of ruling must be obliged. Law and order still reigns over understanding of each other.

May or not?
