Pulmonary HPT

- BMPR2 imbalnce vasoconstric and vasodilator
2.Left ventricular heart failure – back flow into pulmonary veins -> increase PCWP -> back flow pressure pulmonary congestion
3. Type 3 – intense pulmonary hypoxia, chronic interstiasial lung disase – poorly oxygenated blood – chronic hypoxaemia – pulmonary vasocontriction
4. CTEPH- clots within their pulmonary artery- pulmonary emboli chronic. – flow disturbs
5. Type multifactorial causes- > strain
RV strain
Right ventricular pressure
-> portal venous pressures, perritoneal cappilary pressure -> interstial space -. ascites low SAAG
-> lower extremites -> edema
Right heart diffulcit to go to the left heart.
